COMBINED TRAINING
Combined Training (Dressage & Showjumping)
Combined training is a competition which includes riding a dressage test and jumping a round of show jumps. The winner having the highest percentage and the least amount if any showjumping penalties.
To qualify for the National Championships competitors must qualify out of their own area first (Area 2).
Area 2 CT Qualifier : 4th May 2020, CoilÓg Equestrian
National Championships : 30th Jul – 1st Aug 2020 Barnadown Equestrian, Wexford
Under 10
Competitors must be 8/9 years old but not yet 10 on 1st of Jan of current year.
Show Jumping will be max height 65 cm.
D+ test standard is required.
U12
Competitors must be 10/11 years old on 1st of Jan of current year.
D+ test required.
Max height 75 cm.
Novice
Competitors must be 12 years and under 23 years on 1st of Jan of current year.
D+ test required.
Max height 80 cm
Junior
Competitors must be under 15 years on 1st of Jan of current year.
Must be of C test standard.
Max height 90 cm.
Intermediate
Competitors must be under 21 on 1st Jan of current year.
C test required.
Max height 1 m.
Open
Competitors must be under 21 on 1st Jan of current year.
C test required.
Max height 1.10 m.
